Xcalibur Foundation is a non-profit organisation specialised in international cooperation for development. Founded in 2021 in Spain, the Foundation was born with the aim of creating a positive impact on society through education and innovation.
Xcalibur Foundation develops and implements global social projects in countries where its parent company, Xcalibur Smart Mapping, is present. The Foundation’s mission is to convey essential life skills, and personal and social values, to children, youth and women in vulnerable situations. Through sport, training and development, and cultural activities, the Foundation aims to foster strong emotional, psychosocial, and physical well-being, promote educational continuity in children, and cultivate professional opportunities for youth and women.
Xcalibur Foundation currently has active socio-educational projects in Uganda, Colombia, Spain, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and has an ambitious plan for 2024-2025, targeting regions in Africa, Asia, and South America.
Letter from the Board
“Education is one of the most powerful tools available for humanity to progress towards the ideals of peace, freedom, and social justice.
When used as motivational tools, sports, education, and culture are facilitators to generate such social and personal values. The development of these tools makes possible the integration in learning environments where ethical and social values are of great importance for the development of the individual and the group.
In collaboration with Spanish and international organisations, we want to implement socio-educational projects concentrated in disadvantaged regions at national and international level, especially in Africa, Latin America and Asia.
Our desire is to share this effort with all our friends, collaborators and entities that accompany us in this passionate project that we are launching with so much pride and responsibility.
Our aim at the Xcalibur Foundation is to contribute with a solidarity project that not only improves education and its access to it for the most sensitive groups, but also to balance social equality through the values of sport, training and culture.”
