In communities where scarcity is a daily reality, sport can open new pathways. In our Basket4All programme in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, we support teenagers who dream of progressing, young people who need hope, encouragement, and motivation to remain in education.
But today they lack something essential: proper basketball shoes to play safely, avoid injuries, and not feel excluded.
With 60 pairs of basketball shoes, we want these young participants to be able to:
- train safely and without pain,
- strengthen their self-esteem by feeling part of a team,
- maintain their connection to school, using sport as a social anchor.
